Fujitsu Says Nozoe Resigned Over Fund Ties

Fujitsu Ltd. said Wednesday its former president who stepped down in September had ignored a warning that an investment fund he was working with on a potential deal involving a subsidiary might have ties to organized crime.

In a statement, Fujitsu used for the first time the phrase "antisocial forces," a widely used euphemism for organized crime, to describe the reason why the unidentified fund was a cause for concern.
